The parametric study for the performance of higher specific speed hydraulic design of axial flow pumps

摘要

Higher Specific Speed Hydraulic Design are requested for the super large-sized drainage pumps. The main reason is reducing the size of the pump station to reduce construction costs. This report indicates influence of design parameters of Axial Flow Pumps by performance tests of model pumps. Each hydraulic design parameters, such as vortex design, solidity, and skew, were selected different value intentionally.
