For the purpose of selecting best embryo recipient cow, the discrimination equation was prepared by the method of quantitative theory II group. In this case, 12 items of clinical test findings of accessory reproductive organs and ovary findings by means of rectal examinations that were carried out at daily clinical sites were taken as explanatory variables, and the confirmation data of corresponding conception and non-conception were used as the external standards. The correlation ratio between this discrimination equation and clinical findings was 0.487 in diagnostic equation of best recipient cow at 5th day, and 0.504 in diagnostic equation at 7th day, and the right answer rate of the discrimination result by this discrimination equation was 52/65*80.0 percent) at 5th day, and 53/65(81.5 percent) at 7th day. In a separate verification result of discrimination equation by the new data at 5th day and at 7th day, the right answer rate was 58.8 percent at 5th day and 56.7 percent at 7th day. Because the correlation ratio was a little low, the diagnosis reservation range was calculated, and the right answer rate when the individual was excluded in which the discrimination score entered within that range became 72.2 percent at 5th day and 66.7 percent at 7th day, thus a practical discrimination equation which could be used to select the recipient cow at the clinical site was prepared.
