Results are presented of a developed protocol to establish a highly-sensitive ELISA for detection of deoxynivalenol [vomitoxin] (DON), which occurs in Fusarium graminearum[Gibberella zeae]-contaminated cereal grains. The preparation of specific monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against DON is also discussed.
