摘要

MTFs of imaging systems and human eye determine the overall sharpness quality. Therefore various merits used MTF have been proposed and used for evaluation of image qualiy. Almost merit used MTF, however, is not considered anistropic properties of imaging system and human eye. In this paper, dependence of the directivity of contrast sensitivity of human eye in different luminance and opponent color space is measured by using sinusoidal pattern with different direction and spatial frequencies displayed onto the high resolution LCD. As a result, we confirmed that the MTF of 45 deg direction is lower than that of other directions both luminance and opponent color space.
