Effect of Mixture Properties on Characteristics of Alumina-Magnesia Castable Refractories

Even though the characteristics of castable refractories are influenced by mixture properties, there are few investigation reports on the relationship between them. With two castable refractory samples which are prepared by adding different types of dispersing agents to alumina-magnesia castable with identical chemical compositions and raw material blending ratios, the influences of mixture properties on castable characteristics were investigated.
