PLC Based Cleaning of Metal for Electroplating

In an extremely mechanized world such as today's it is necessary to make our plants automatic, convertible and economical. The concept originates at a time when there is large increase in mass production. With increase in production, quality with minimum time is also an important parameter. Water plays an important role in industries. Among its many uses, it is more importantly used for the purpose of cleaning. In industries such as paint, automobile, electroplating, paper etc, it is necessary that the material to be worked on is thoroughly cleaned with a hot water spray to wash off dust and other physical impurities and get the piece ready for further work. In this system, interlocking is used to ensure fail safe condition. More powerful interlock systems can be built by using computer-based approaches such as PLCs which represent the most cost-efficient approach. To give a cleanness surface to the product for the further use hot water spray is required. Also such kind of industries is having batch production. So to save the time for painting purpose this automatic system is used which is very effective. Objects are placed on conveyor belt one by one in sequence with one object separated from other with safe distance. The system once activated runs automatically [1].
