LUBRICANTS EFFECTS ON TECHNICAL PERFORMANCES OF INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENTS

The present paper represents the experimental researches concerning the effects of lubricants on the technical performances of an industrial equipment, especially for the shaft - bearings assembly, using an experimental stand. The LABVIEW software has been used for the data acquisition and numerical processing. The principal dynamic parameters measured were: the torque, the radial loading in the bearing, the vibration spectral of the equipment and the temperature in the bearings. The measurements were performed using three different types of lubricating greases, with different rheological properties and microscopic structures. The results show a major influence of the lubricant characteristics on the dynamic parameters of the industrial equipment.
