NONEXISTENCE OF NONTRIVIAL SOLUTIONS WITH DECAY ORDER FOR SOME NONLINEAR ELLIPTIC EQUATIONS

We use the Morawetz multiplier to show that there are no nontrivial solutions of certain decay order for some nonlinear elliptic equations in R-n. These nonlinear elliptic equations include the equations of the following three types: -Delta u + f(x, u) = 0, -Delta u + f(x, u) - (Delta(h(u(2))))h'(u(2))u = 0, and Delta(2)u+f (x, u) = 0.
