Sixteen medicinal or ornamental plants belonging to Apocynaceae were investigated for AM fungal association. Presence of 35 AM fungi associated with these plants were identified up to species level. Data on qualitative composition and specific association with the host plants has been generated. Glomus was represented by 21 species, Acaulospora by seven species, Scutellospora, Gigaspora and Archaeospora by two species each and Entrophospora was represented by a single species only.
