摘要

Nanoscience and nanotechnology education is an interdisciplinary field that involves the contributions of researchers and educators from multiple academic backgrounds. In this article, we specifically review the contributions chemists and chemistry education researchers have made to the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology education. We discuss contributions in the areas of classroom practice--including classroom activities, laboratory activities, demonstrations, course development, etc.--and educational research about students' and teachers' understandings of and attitudes toward nanoscience and nanotechnology. We also consider ways in which chemists and chemistry education researchers could further contribute to the field by providing suggestions for future work.
