Rheo-small-angle neutron scattering apparatuses at China Mianyang Research Reactor

We have developed two Rheo-Small-Angle Neutron Scattering (Rheo-SANS) apparatuses at spectrometer SANS-Suanni of the 20MWChina Mianyang Research Reactor (CMRR). The first apparatus is a Couette cell based on a constant stress, Anton Paar GmbH EC-Twist 502 system. The second one is a home-made extensional rheometer. The Rheo-SANS instruments are installed for soft matter investigation of CMRR. We give a brief report of these environmental equipments and the Rheo-SANS experiments performed, demonstrating the utility of such measurements.
