摘要

The aim of this study is to compare Monte Carlo based codes' characteristics in image acquisition of a HotRod phantom and evaluation of the results with a high resolution SPECT (HiReSPECT). GATE (Geant4 application for Tomographic Emission), SIMIND and MCNPX were employed especially due to their flexibility and capabilities in simulation of a SPECT imaging acquisition system. Atype of Jaszczak phantom including 33 hot rods placed in a Plexiglas container of 32 millimeter diameter was simulated. This work was carried out using the energy window of 140±10% in clinical and simulation studies. The image reconstruction was performed by MLEM method. The results shed light on the subtle differences of the codes that would be considered more in a typical simulation.
