摘要

This paper aims to verify the possible influences that lighting technologies can generate in the Ethernet networks through electromagnetic interference (EMI). For the realization of the tests were used twisted-pair cables, category 5 and 6 that were submitted to the influence of seven lighting equipment technologies on 13 samples. The tests were carried out in an armored environment at the LABLUX - UFF facilities using the Iperf3 software. The results of this study showed that although electronic components cause electromagnetic interference in different cable categories, Ethernet networks are not affected by these systems. On the other hands, the protocol for sending the packets may interfere with the efficiency and reliability of data packet traffic.
