Floating production system orders are to be sparse around the world for the rest of the year as operators are reluctant to approve projects amid uncertain oil prices and falling costs although FSRU developments are more resistant. In its new second quarter 2015 Floating Production Systems Report, Energy Maritime Associates (EMA), listed the projects it sees as delayed and said that while it is a global phenomenon: "So far, FSRU projects have not been as severely impacted, as these projects are driven by the difference between oil and gas prices, as well as political and environmental factors." In Africa, EMA sees Maersk's Chissonga and Cobalt's Ca-meia projects off Angola as being delayed as well as Eni's Etan/Zabazaba project off Nigeria. There are still hopes though for the likes of Shell's Bonga Southwest in Nigeria and Eni's Coral South FLNG project off Mozambique to be awarded this year.
