Statoil hands GE global wellhead frame deal

Statoil has handed GE Oil & Gas a four-year framework agreement to provide wellhead equipment and associated services around the world. With the industry citing the need for product standardisation to help reduce costs and increase efficiency, the deal also includes two, two-year extensions.
