Natural products comprising of exceptional molecular blueprints have been traditionally used as remedial mediators and represent an infinite source of biodiversity as yet unexploited for useful pharmacological activity. The study of insect chemical defence offers various cues in this regard (1). Certain insects can modify potential toxins from plants into sources of nutrition or agents of protection from insectivores (2).
