Subsea 7 lands on Atoll as first of four Africa targets

Subsea 7 has won the first of four contracts it is chasing off Africa - the AtoU project for BP off Egypt. The contract scope includes the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of more than 40km of rigid pipelines and associated structures for the new deepwater Atoll field, tying into the existing shallow water Taurt field. A 105km umbilical will also be installed linking the Atoll field to shore.
