Methotrexate dose in current ECCO consensus on Crohn's disease.

Concerning the guideline 'The second European evidence-based consensus on the diagnosis and management of Crohn's disease: Current management" recently published in JCC [1], there is a statement in this excellent workshop, I appreciate the opportunity to send this comment to you.On page 38 of the article in the section entitled "5.4.7. Methotrexate" there is a statement in the first paragraph that "Methotrexate 25 mg/day (oral, subcutaneous or intramuscular injection-unlicensed for use IBD) may be used in a similar fashion to thiopurines". Methotrexate dose should be 25 mg/week.
