The article deals with the strengthening of concrete structures with external reinforcement. As a binder, for external reinforcement of the concrete prism, epoxy glue ED-20 made of epoxy resin was used. The glue is designed for bonding carbon fabric to a concrete sample. The ratio betweencarbon fabric and epoxy glue is 60:40. The prisms with dimensions of 100×100×400 mm were tested. The experimental results show increasing the strength of reinforced samples, depending on the number of glued layers of carbon tape. The nature of concrete destruction changes as itworks in conjunction with indirect external reinforcement. When using external reinforcement, the stress state of the concrete is similar to three-axis compression, which allows the reinforced sample to take a higher load than the control samples.
