摘要

Firstly, an improved image coding decoding algorithm based on wavelet transform and JPEG2000 standard is proposed, on the one hand, this algorithm proposes a simple and effective entropy coding method aimed at 8n × 8m pixel image; on the other hand, the lifting operation of wavelet transform is improved by table look-up method and the calculation and complexity is reduced, experiment and simulation results show the proposed method is effective. Secondly, based on wavelet transform, the contour feature of target is attained by utilizing the results of wavelet transform, a simple and effective target tracking method based on simple background is proposed. Finally, the above methods can perform the image coding decoding and target tracking in every frame image collection period based on the simulation and analysis, the image coding decoding and target tracking embedded processing hardware scheme based on FPGA chip is proposed, single background target tracking is executed and the target can be tracked stably.
