The Video Shot Boundary Cut Detection Based on Color Histogram

摘要

Video shot boundary detection is important and valuable for video processing. In this paper, we describe the basic concept of video camera edge boundary detection, and then provide the research purpose and significance of video mutation detection. Methods currently used in this field have been summarized. We propose a video shot boundary detection method based on color histogram, and validate the correctness of it by engineering practice. The experiments results show that the method we proposed can find out the video edge correctly.
