摘要

This paper seeks to focus on Bayesian, E-Bayesian (expectation of the Bayesian), and hierarchical Bayesian estimations for the parameters of the Rayleigh distribution (RD) based on type-II censored samples. These estimators are obtained based on squared error and LINEX loss functions.Relations between E-Bayesian estimations for the parameter, reliability and, hazard functions are discussed. Moreover, comparisons between maximum likelihood, Bayesian, and E-Bayesian are investigated through two examples by using the simulation data and real life data.
