Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a network that contains a number of nodes, these nodes are communicated in wireless media. Recently, MANET network faces many challenges produced by its special limitations. These limitations are often results from the misidentified transmission of each node, the undesired access of the nodes entered to the network that it can easily share the information of transmission media. In order to handle the mentioned limitations. It is highly required to authenticate MANET network. In this paper, we authenticate the MANET network using one of the most common unimodal physiological biometrics fingerprint. We used RSA encryption algorithm with the fingerprint in order to improve the security of the whole system. The extracted features of fingerprint based on minutiae feature extraction algorithm is used as a private key to identify each node on MANET network. Furthermore, RSA algorithm are used to encrypt the feature vector produced by fingerprint to strengthen the system security of the network. The experimental results of the proposed system achieves a lower delay time with higher authentication rate compared with the state of the art systems.
