Subsea contractor Ocean Installer has won its first contract off West Africa in a time of tight competition and keen bid prices - a deal for Total's Moho Nord project off Congo Brazzaville. The contract will see Ocean Installer install and pre-commis-sion an umbilical, multi-phase pump, flying leads and spools in water depths of around 3,280ft (1,000m). The scope includes project management, engineering and logistics, in addition to offshore work.
