摘要

The challenging problem of modeling, analyzing and controlling complex systems is investigated using Fuzzy Cognitive Map's theories. A mathematical description of FCM model is presented; new advanced construction methods and an algorithm are developed and extensively examined. The issue of modeling the supervisor of large complex manufacturing systems is addressed and is modeled using FCM theories. A manufacturing example from the pharmaceutical industries is used to prove the usefulness of the proposed method. Simulation results are given and discussed extensively.
