SIISC 2019: HADEED SABIC DETERMINED TO ACCOMPLISH IRON ORE PROJECT IN MAURITANIA

The permanent concerns over raw material supply as the precondition for sustainable operations forced many steelmakers, DRI-based first of all, to dust off their iron ore projects. Saudi Arabia’s Hadeed SABIC, which had this idea well ahead of the supply imbalance, also intends to complete its iron ore assets in Mauritania and get free access to pellets.
