ARCELORMITTAL ITALIA PROCEEDS WITH ENVIRONMENTAL PLAN IMPLEMENTATION

By May 2020, ArcelorMittal Italia plans to partially complete implementation of its Environmental Plan for Taranto steel works, according to the official statement. According to the source, the works include coverage of the entire storage area for raw materials, includ- ing iron ore and coal in order to reduce dust emission level. The project cost is estimated at EUR 300 million. On September 5, ArcelorMittal Italia completed the second part of measures for coverages of minerals storage. According to an announcement, it is planned to complete the project by December 2019.
