In 2017 global steelmaking capacity has decreased slightly for the second consecutive year – to 2,268million tpy against 2,290 million tpy in 2016, Metal Expert learnt from the statement of Lieven Top, Chairmanof the OECD Steel Committee, during 84th Session of the Committee.
