The Iranian longs producer Yazd Rolling Mill has revised commissioning dates for the new equipment, a company insider told Metal Expert. In mid-December Yazd Rolling Mill will start hot commis-sioning of its 400,000 tpy wire rod mill after upgrade, aimed to expand its product range. “The next week we will start hot commissioning of the mill,” the source said. “We will be able to produce wire rod from low carbon, high carbon, CHQ grade etc. Also, sizes will reach up to 16 mm, while previously we were producing up to 10 mm.”
