SIDENOR GROUP TO UPGRADE MERCHANT BAR MILL IN THESSALONIKI

The Greek division of Sidenor Group has awarded Spain’s Russula with an order for complete upgrade of electrical and automation systems at its 15-stand merchant bar mill (800,000 tpy) at Thessaloniki plant, according to the contractor’s press release. The main target is to replace obsolete equipment and simplify the control platform, which will improve maintenance and trouble-shooting at the unit.
