Review on the Development of Biogas Decarburization Technology

摘要

Biogas is an important part of bioenergy with the advantages over large reserves, renewable and eco-friendly. The main components of the biogas are methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2), a small amount of H2S, N-2, O-2, H-2, NH3 and solid particles. Theoretically, two gases with the same Wobbe coefficient can be used as a replace. However, a large amount of carbon dioxide in the biogas makes the Wobbe coefficient of biogas only one-half of the natural gas. Therefore, the development of decarburization technology has far-reaching significance for biogas use. This paper briefly introduced the development of biogas engineering, and summarized the decarburization technologies involved in biogas engineering.
