The increased risk posed by cybersecurity threats in the coming year is the common thread among Forrester Research's five predictions in its report "Predictions 2017: Cybersecurity Risks Intensify." With the arrival of the connected world now a reality, "the next 12 months will see battles rage that will determine the amount of control individuals have over their own data and right to privacy as well as the offensive and defensive responsibilities of our governments," the authors wrote.
