摘要

In this research study has optical properties of liquid polymer PVP with silver nanoparticles with Eosin B dye in ethanol. Each linear optical parameters account (absorbance and transmittance and reflectivity and refraction coefficient and the optical absorption coefficient). And the study of nonlinear optical properties was nonlinear refraction coefficient and nonlinear absorption coefficient will be accounted. This experiment was performed using continuous wave (CW) Diode laser with a wavelength of 650 nm. The calculated nonlinear refractive index of the film, n_2 = 0.25610 × 10~(-6) cm~2/W and nonlinear absorption coefficient, β = 2.1888 cm/W. Optical limiting characteristics of the dye-doped polymer film was studied. The result reveals that Eosin B can be a promising material for optical limiting applications.
