JLG Industries Inc. has developed a new fleet management telematics system that the company said answers its customers' requests for a tool to more effectively collect engine and equipment operation data for the company's aerial work platforms and telehandlers. ClearSky combines multiyear service plans and several hardware options to offer machine users a range of information, including location, engine hours, usage, fuel levels, battery levels, and maintenance schedules, all of which are available in real time and accessible from desktop or mobile devices, JUG said. The dashboard, settings and a library of widgets can be edited and prioritized according to customer preferences, said the Oshkosh Corp. subsidiary headquartered in McConnellsburg, Pa.
