What can managers do when their team starts to lose motivation, spends time moaning and complaining or bickering, and when performance is heading downwards while absence through sickness increasing?ATake a look at stress levels. People may find different aspects of life stressful and will respond in different ways, resulting in behaviour including tearfulness, withdrawal or even aggression and bullying. Work can be stressful, especially if employees feel that they are not able to cope with it, do not feel able to control the way they do their work, do not understand their role and responsibilities, have not received sufficient information or training and are nervous about whether their job is safe in these uncertain times.
