Year in review and coming in 2013

摘要

In past years, we have entered the New Year with discussions regarding challenges and opportunities [1]. As we enter 2013, we would like to remind our readers of the changes that occurred in 2012 and the positive new changes we will see beginning this year. Keep in mind, we must continue to strive to improve quality and journal impact and meet the needs of our readers. Keeping the balance can be a challenge, but as we hope to show, that is a key to meeting the mission of the American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR) [2].
