PLANTS TO LIVE WITH

I have tried a wide variety of houseplants in the several houses we have owned over the last fifty four years of Sherron and my married life. They have all brought some life and grace into our home, but each had its own needs to stay healthy.A houseplant needs the same set of living conditions as any plant but is subject to some different stresses. Discounting damage by pets and children, a houseplant has to endure dry air, limited light and whatever water its humans see fit to provide. And, where we display our houseplants is often not the locations of our homes they would prefer. So, we compromise and grow our houseplants near windows but usually not in the rooms with ideal humidity.
