Driver's death lands 60k pounds fine

A Leicestershire skip hire and waste disposal company has been fined ?60,000 over the death of employee Beverley Upton, 45, who was crushed between her vehicle and another. Upton, a tipper truck driver, was loading her lorry at the company's site in Leicester Road, Hinckley on 4 November 2015. A shovel loader was loading a piece of carpet into Upton's truck, but it became lodged against the top edge of the nearside of the lorry.
