Impeller trimming can improve the performance of a centrifugal pump and expand its application range. This article compares special impeller trimming methods, providing a scientific basis for trimming, and outlines the most effective methods for different flow rates. This article focused on a comparison of special impeller trimming methods for centrifugal pumps, providing a scientific basis for impeller trimming. To investigate the relationship between the geometry of the impeller outlet and H-Q curve, the flow field of pump at low flow rate was analyzed based on CFD simulation.
