Globalization: New goals set to tackle globalization

Globalization is creating greater competition, particularly in commodities such as mining, paper and other raw materials, but what does this mean for the pump industry and how can it be managed effectively to deliver greater efficiency and value for the customer? Trickle down the effects of globalization to the plant floor and you will find resources needing to be stretched, labour requiring more efficient utilization and equipment maintenance being pushed to be as lean as possible. All these aspects must be managed more precisely and can be referred to as stewardship goals.
