In recent years, the offshore energy industry has become increasingly focused on cutting costs and improving operational efficiencies, which has led to strategies and solutions being adopted from other innovative industries. One such shift has been the move towards more detailed results, more complex variables and more extensive data sets. And, as the mounds of data grow larger and larger, it has become less and less clear how to effectively use this data.
