HEATING: Scotland targets stricter low-carbon heat targets

The Scottish Government will introduce regulations that will require all new homes in the country by 2024 to have either "renewable or low-carbon heating". H&V News understands that the devolved authority aims to publish a draft heat decarbonisation policy outlining the plans, for consultation purposes, this summer. The UK government is committed to outlaw fossil fuel heating in new-build homes by 2025.
