SOLID FUELS: Stove heating sector applauds government wet wood phaseout plan

Government commitments to phase out and end the sale of coal and wet wood for domestic burning in England have been welcomed by a broad range of stove industry bodies. The commitments were announced in February by environment secretary George Eustice and are intended to ensure cleaner, more efficient burning in stoves across the UK by cutting emissions of PM 2.5 particulates.
