The state of Victoria in southeastern Australia recently released a draft Freshwater Fisheries Plan for public comment. "Over the last decade, we've built new ponds and upgradedfacilities, but we are now running out of space to expand further. A new hatchery would focus on warm water native fish and would free up capacity at Snobs Creek to grow more cool water species: trout, Macquarie perch and trout cod."
