Only one benchmark range in Asia-Pacific saw a change in the last month: the JU 361-400 IC category for Southeast Asia fell from USD 55,000-67,500 to USD 41,000-45,000. The new low is set by Saka Energi's charter of COSLPower for its campaign offshore Indonesia, and it is the lowest known day rate to be fixed for premium rigs in Southeast Asia in the last 18 years. The new high, meanwhile, is tied to a recent jackup fixture for work offshore Thailand. This is the only rig category in Southeast Asia with a valid benchmark range. In the Indian Ocean, JU =>30l IC remains at USD 25,270-51,000 and JU 300 IC at a flat USD 25,270. For Australia/New Zealand, rates for JU 361-400 IC are in a range of USD 95,000-118,500 while that for Semi <=3000 is at USD 115,000.
