Bolivia Looks to Home Market as Exports Fall

Land-locked Bolivia has relied almost exclusively on Brazil and Argentina as outlets for its natural gas for the past decade or more.But that is starting to change as its Southern Cone neighbors cut imports to make way for domestic supply.At the same time,the government wants to boost the economy by focusing on value-added products associated with gas such as ammonia and urea that can either be exported or used at home.
