Decade-old plans to add a seventh train at Nigeria LNG (NLNG) may at last move off the drawing board, hoisting capacity at the Bonny Island plant in the eastern Niger Delta to 30 million tons per year. NLNG CEO Tony Attah said the project finally has full government backing and, with LNG suppliers elsewhere in the world holding off on final investment decisions (FIDs), now seems the ideal time to go ahead (WGI Mar.2'16).
