Italy's Boxy SpA, represented by Howar Equipment in North America, focuses on many steel reel constructions, but especially its collapsible steel reel line. Per the company, these reels are specifically made to customer requirements and are an extension of the production line since they are used to create the final wire package. A collapsible reel is used to create a wire coil with four to six steel straps that hold the coil in its reel-less package format. The steel drum has four sectioned segments that mechanically retract to allow the coil to be extracted from the reel when being disassembled.
