As my 90 year old eyes read the December 2019 issue of the SCAA journal, it was with considerable astonishment that I found on p34 my 40 year old and then bearded face offering advice on "A Self-reliant View". Thank you. I am most flattered to think you found it worth reprinting after 50 years. I think it is inevitable that present day readers would wonder "who is this peanut". The "18 years in the surface coatings industry" mentioned in the reprint was with British Australian Lead Manufacturers, later BALM Paints and now Dulux Australia.
