Finding another 100 Series tractor, or Red Giant as they were dubbed, amongst the top five tractors from the 1960s is no real surprise. Looking very much like its smaller, three-cylinder sibling, the MF 165 was what Massey Ferguson described as a medium/heavy class tractor and always looked likely to be a popular model - just as its predecessor had been - as it had everything the progressive farmer could want.
